Completely freeNo cost. No catch. No invoice.
We come to your school and deliver a full whole-school assembly, live demonstrations, real space engineering stories, and hands-on moments for children from Reception to Year 6. It costs your school nothing.
The one ask: 15 minutes with us after the assembly to talk about a Space Club. If it fits, your families tell us in a short survey, and if they want a club, we start one.

Inside the assembly
This is not a PowerPoint presentation about space. It’s a live session led by someone who works in the space industry – with real hardware, real mission stories, and moments where children in the front row are holding pieces of a real satellite.
The assembly is designed to work across the full primary age range simultaneously. Reception children engage through story and wonder. Year 6 children engage through complexity and challenge. Everyone leaves having seen something they won’t forget.

Mission briefing
Children receive their mission scenario. The assembly leader is introduced as a real spacecraft engineer, and shows hardware from a real mission.
0:08
The big question
One real, open question space agencies are working on right now. Children vote, debate and challenge each other’s thinking across the hall.
0:18
Live demonstration
A hands-on experiment that the whole school can see, something that makes the science visible. Children are called up to participate.
0:30
Meet the engineers
Real career stories, who works in space, what they studied, what they build. Deliberately diverse: scientists, engineers, artists, coders.
0:40
The challenge reveal
Children are told that the Louno Space Club can bring these challenges into their school every week. The mission continues, if they want it to.

Questions
Something not covered? Email us at [email protected], we reply within one working day.
Is it really free? What’s the catch?
It is genuinely free. No invoice, no hidden costs, nothing owed. In return we ask for a 15-minute conversation about a possible club and, if it fits, that you share a short parent survey with families. We write it for you. If families aren’t interested, nothing follows and there’s nothing to pay. That’s the whole deal.
What do I need to do to prepare for the assembly?
Nothing practical. We arrive with everything, equipment, materials, any resources children interact with. We just need access to your hall or assembly space at the agreed time, and for children to be seated before we start. A brief introduction from a member of staff is appreciated but not required.
Does the club cost the school anything?
No. Club costs are covered by the parent fees we collect through our booking system. Schools don’t pay anything. You provide the room and a register, we handle all staffing, materials, safeguarding documentation and parent communications.
Can we book an assembly even if we’re not sure about hosting a club?
Yes, absolutely. The assembly is offered freely and without obligation. Some schools book the assembly first to gauge interest from children and parents before making any commitment. That’s a completely reasonable approach and we support it.
Do you operate in our area?
We currently run across the UK. If your school is outside these regions, get in touch anyway, we’re expanding and your enquiry helps us plan where to go next. Schools outside our current regions won’t be forgotten.

Space Science
The Kármán line sits 100km up — but the boundary is blurrier than the textbooks suggest, and the blurriness is the interesting part.

STEM in the Classroom
Beyond the facts and the cosmic wonder, space teaches children how to ask a question, be wrong in public, and try again. Here is how to put that to work in a classroom.
