The problem we’re solving
By the time students reach secondary school, attitudes toward science and engineering are already largely formed. The decisions that determine who enters your industry are made in primary classrooms, years before any graduate scheme.
Partnering with Louno Space puts your company at the beginning of that pipeline, where the impact is greatest, where competition for brand association is lowest, and where a relatively modest investment reaches the children most likely to become the engineers, scientists and innovators of the 2040s.
The UK has a critical STEAM skills shortage
Engineering UK estimates a shortfall of 173,000 STEAM workers per year. Aerospace, tech and energy sectors are most exposed. The shortage begins with low primary-age engagement, particularly among girls and underserved communities.
Interest in STEAM drops sharply at age 10–12
Research consistently shows that children who don’t develop a positive STEAM identity before secondary school rarely enter STEAM careers. Early intervention, before Year 7, is the highest-leverage point for lasting change.
Most CSR education spend hits too late
Graduate partnerships, university sponsorships and secondary school outreach reach students whose career trajectories are already set. Louno Space reaches children at the age when identity and interest are still being formed.
